I really wanted to do something different for my students this year. Technology is becoming so important of the lives of kids and adults everywhere and just handing out regular teacher worksheets and normal assignments is old and boring. I mean, I just turned 30, but I remember we did a good deal of computer stuff in class when I was a kid. In college we still did assignments with paper products and paper-based assignments. But the world is moving towards computers! I bet that within 10 years we will be using tablets for normal, everyday activities.
