A Parents Worries Never End

You’ll find that there’s always something new that you can buy for your baby, and I remember looking on our shower registry and seeing all of these items which included a baby activity walkerr, toys, a baby bath, nursing pillow, and dozens of other items I can no longer remember. It seemed like it was such a stressful thing trying to figure out which of these items we were going to need for our baby, and I remember my wife and I were pretty worried about everything we had to buy. However, there are so many issues that we had to deal with in the next coming months, that we soon started learning how to deal with these kind of stressful situations in the best way that we knew how, by remaining calm and only worrying when it was time to worry. This is the kind of attitude we told once our child was born, and so far I have to say it has served us pretty well.

A True Story About My Baby

It was a cloudy day when this story happened. My husband and I were due to go upstate to a hotel for a week, and we were busy packing up our suitcases and other types of luggage. Since our apartment was one flight up, we ran up and down the stairs holding our packages as we got ready to leave our home town.

I made sure that none of the luggage blocked our access to the Britax Marathon convertible car seat where our adorable first born son would be sitting for this journey. It took quite a while for us to gather all of our stuff, as we would be away for eleven and a half days, so we needed to pack a lot of different things for the trip.

We were finally about to leave, and my husband locked the door of our apartment when I screamed, “We forgot the kid!” Sure enough, Joey was sleeping peacefully in his baby swing in the apartment, and we had nearly left without him!
