Being a Better Mom

I am going to see to it that I contact a heating and air conditioning company this weekend. It is really hard for me to live without heating, starting in the fall. It would be nice if our furnace is fixed before the really harsh winter sets in. I know that we should have done this a long time go, but we procrastinated, and now we are definitely suffering. I sort of thought that it would not be an issue for us, but it has become more than that. We have a baby now, so this is something that is necessary! I suppose that I should really be the mother now. I can’t depend on my husband for everything. I think that, in order to be a better mom, I am definitely going to have to think ahead. I am working on that, and I hope that I can stick to it.

Time for a Change

In about 6 weeks’ time, I’ll finally be moving into my new place. For the last 3 years I’ve been saving as much as I can in order to be able to put a deposit down on buying my own apartment. With the hefty deposit, the bond repayment is not too excessive, and it will actually be slightly less than my current rent, which is for an apartment of roughly the same size. It makes so much sense to just take the hit and get my own place.
